About

Hellenic National Tsunami Warning Centre (HL-NTWC) monitors Sea Level through a network of more than 20 tide gauges located all around Greece..

All data are stored in a database and can be displayed in different formats using this web interface.

The site shows theorical Sea Levels calculated by an algorithm and compares them with real Measurements from each tide gauge in the Database.

Acknowledgement

  • This site was developed by European Commission Joint Research Centre - ISPRA - Space, Security and Migration Directorate (JRC).

  • Stations code named JRC or IDSL have been installed in the frame of a collaboration between the Joint Research Centre and the National Observatory of Athens with the financial contribution of the European mechanism for Civil Protection (ECHO-MIC) and the Joint Research Centre.
